SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS

Ritual Medical offers online booking to schedule appointments. Patients can schedule appointments within their MyChart accounts. Appointments may be scheduled up to two business days in advance. Ritual Medical does not typically offer same-day appointments. For scheduled appointments, we ask that you begin preparing for your appointment fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled start time. It is our goal to honor your appointment time as best we can. We aim to make sure our patients are always seen within thirty minutes of their scheduled appointment time.

CANCELED OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS

Ritual Medical is committed to providing exceptional care. Unfortunately, when one patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another patient from being seen. To notify us of any changes or cancellations, please message Dr. Mullane through your MyChart account by 3:00 PM on the business day before your scheduled appointment. Business days are Monday through Friday. To cancel a Monday appointment, please try to contact us by 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ritual Medical does not charge you for missing an appointment. We understand that sometimes you may accidentally miss an appointment due to an emergency or simply due to forgetfulness. However, if you unintentionally miss three appointments within twelve months without notifying us as instructed, you will be discharged from the practice.

AFTER HOURS POLICY

Although Ritual Medical does not offer urgent care or emergency medicine, we do provide on-call coverage for established patients. Please note that Ritual Medical does not schedule after hours appointments, and we do not handle routine, non-critical messages or telephone calls after regular business hours. Please use your MyChart account as your first point of access to communicate with us. For routine, non-critical messages, you may expect a provider response within 72 hours.

As a specialized medical practice, we prefer patients to schedule appointments for routine care so that we can adequately prepare for your visit. An on-call provider for Ritual Medical is always available to address any critically abnormal lab or imaging results, or any other critical healthcare issues. In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1 and/or seek care at the nearest Emergency Department or Urgent Care facility.
